Amberly Motion Graphics 2024 E-Portfolio

  After putting the graphics from Illustrator, I proceeded to animate it. Thankfully, I did not encounter any issues with animating as it was quite straightforward. After another consultation, I was advised to: 1. Put a background to the title so that it did not look as if it appeared from thin air. 2. To dim the other horses at the back as to further create a focus and differentiate between all the horses. Adding a background to the title Dimming the horses to create depth MUSIC For music I picked the song Carousel by Melanie Martinez. The title of the song was fitting for the book as well as it being featured by the author as one of the music in the official playlist of the book. For assignment 2, we are required to choose a book to make an animated poster. The book I have chosen is Caraval by Stephanie Garber as it is one of my favourite books.  Synopsis Scarlett Dragna has never left the tiny island where she and her sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel, father. Now Scarlett’s father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval—the faraway, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show—are over. But this year, Scarlett’s long-dreamt-of invitation finally arrives. With the help of a mysterious sailor, Tella whisks Scarlett away to the show. Only, as soon as they arrive, Tella is kidnapped by Caraval’s mastermind organizer, Legend. It turns out that this season’s Caraval revolves around Tella, and whoever finds her first is the winner.
